The Museum Stewards

It would not be possible for Dovery Manor Museum to open its doors to the public without the dedicated and enthusiastic support of our stewards.

The stewards volunteer their time, usually in slots of one and three quarter hours, on a rota system. We are grateful to our co-ordinator who ensures the staffing of the museum and manages the rota.

Stewarding at the museum is a most rewarding experience, enabling individuals to meet new people and contribute to something special in the village.

Many stewards take advantage of their time at the museum to extend their own knowledge using the large amount of material which is available.
