The Artists who were inspired by Porlock

The museum’s Summer Exhibition celebrates the artists who over the past three centuries have been inspired by the beauty of our local landscapes.
 
We bring together for the first time a wide selection of works painted in Porlock, the villages of the Vale and Porlock Weir. The collection spans the centuries, with works by the Porlock-born Richard Phelps in the eighteenth century through to more recent times.
